Great fresh eating, holds well
An all-purpose pear with a mild and aromatic taste. D’Anjous are a favorite of chefs due to their many culinary uses. These are great for snacking, slicing fresh into salads, baking into pies, or pureeing into sauces.
Comes to us from Okanogan Producers via Walla Walla Food Hub. We are five small farms that work together, sharing resources, equipment, knowledge, expertise, marketing and sales. OPMA was officially formed in March of 2006. Over the years, we have cultivated a close working relationship between the farms and our Co-op for the benefit of our consumers. We believe that by working as a collective we are able to offer our customers much more than we could as individual farms.
Farms include Filaree Fruit, Apple Cart Fruits and Whitestone Mountain.
