These giant marigolds grow about 3 feet high, and produce blooms that range from golden melon-orange to light yellow. Marigolds are frost sensitive. For best results in eastern Oregon, start indoors 3-4 weeks before the last frost (April-May) and transplant outside once danger of frost has passed (June). Marigolds make excellent dried flowers for bright indoor blooms all winter long.
