Repose Homestead is a woman-owned cottage bakery out of Enterprise, Oregon. Caitlin bakes naturally leavened sourdough bread using stone-milled heritage grains sourced exclusively from small farms in Oregon and Washington. Every loaf starts with a living culture and grains she can trace back to the people who grew them.

Being one-woman operation means every loaf is made with full attention from start to finish. No shortcuts, no commodity flour. Her Country Sourdough is a simple, honest everyday bread, the kind that becomes a staple in your kitchen.

Simple food demands the best. The bread and pastries Caitlin bakes begin with farmers and millers who know their land, their grain, their craft. She chooses ingredients for their integrity, not convenience.

"All of our baking starts with organic flour from Camas Country Mill and Cairnspring Mills. We sweeten with organic maple sugar from Barred Woods Maple or locally sourced honey from Liza Jane’s Farmstand. Eggs come from our small flock, dairy comes from Creamline Farms, vanilla from Singing Dog Vanilla and chocolate from Guittard Chocolate.

"We believe in full transparency. Our ingredient list may be small, but it's the best, and we'll keep this page updated as we grow and source.

Caitlin bakes because she believes food is most nourishing when it's made close to home, with care for the land and the people who tend it.
