Comes to us from Covenant Farm via Walla Walla Food Hub. Uriah grew up first on a family dairy farm and then later helped his family run a direct to consumer sweet corn business. While loving farming and serving others, he always had a desire to grow food using sustainable and honoring methods. Fast forward a few years, after marrying Nicole, they began a small garden, the same time that they welcomed their first daughter to the family. Well, the garden was quite neglected that year (something to look back and chuckle at). The following year, Nicole started on the tractor to create a better space for their garden and just kept going... and going... and going, until a simple family garden turned into something that they could share with their friends, family and community. Inspired by Back to Eden Garden and the Ruth Stout Method, along with other pioneers in sustainable farming, Covenant Farms boasts a completely chemical and synthetic free, regenerative, and sustainable garden filled with only organic heirloom seeds. Understanding the energetic impacts of iron and steel in our soil, they have transitioned materials to wood and copper as much as possible, and continue to work towards only using beneficial tools for our soil. If you were to ask what their main focus and desire is for Covenant Farms it would be this: Educating others with real experiences about the beauty and wonder of Creation and the immense blessings one can receive when committing to honor the land we have been given to steward. We hope you enjoy what our little farm has to offer!

We use organic, heirloom seeds exclusively. No chemicals, synthetics, or toxins are ever used in or around our produce. We utilize the immense benefits of copper structured water, drip line irrigation for water conservation, hay and wood chip mulching (no-till), as well as limiting the use of iron or steel tools or posts in our garden as much as possible, and replacing them with natural wood or copper.
